Wyoming Disposal Systems is donating Superhero themed canvases to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Chad Blakely, Wyoming’s own comic book artist, graphic designer, watercolorist, portrait artist and illustrator, was chosen to depict these paintings in a fun and creative way geared toward children.
“Art gives me an outlet to leave an impression on my viewers and thanks to Wyoming Disposal Systems, I have been given the opportunity to impact the lives of children and families at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center,” said Blakely. “I will forever be grateful for this opportunity.”
Once completed, the paintings will be displayed on a full wall on the Pediatric Floor at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. “Wyoming Disposal Systems cannot thank Chad enough for using his artistic talents to support the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. We are so excited to see the finished project,” said Tatiana Grant, Media Marketing Specialist at Wyoming Disposal Systems.
Along with the canvas donation, Wyoming Disposal Systems is hosting a toy drive for the hospital starting April 9 through April 20. Drop-off locations for the toys are Wyoming Disposal Systems offices in Cheyenne, 475 Rd. 128A, and Laramie, 547 Hwy 230, as well as Cheyenne Children’s Clinic locations, 4116 Laramie St. and 2301 House Ave., Suite 405.
